Course Curriculum
Getting Started
Get started with an introduction to the tutorial, reference photograph, grids for the photo and drawing paper, names of the teeth, and materials used.
Set Up the Grid
Begin by learning how to use Photoshop and Word to make your own grids for the reference photograph and drawing paper.
Begin Drawing the Face
Next, see how to draw the outline of the face, the neck, and the details of the face around the mouth.
Draw the Lips and Teeth
Then, discover how to draw the top and bottom lip, add details to the lips, and how to properly draw all of the teeth.
Shade One Side of the Face
After that, draw along with me as I apply tones, blend the tones, and layer additional details on one side of the face and neck.
Shade the Upper Lip
Next, learn how to shade and add layers of tone and detail to the upper lip for a realistic look.
Shade the Teeth
Also, learn how to have highlights, midtones, and darker tones work together to enhance the realism of the gums and teeth.
Shade the Lower Lip
In addition, use a variety of specific shading techniques to creatively complete the lower lip.
Shade the Rest of the Face
Finish up by carefully shading the chin, the other side of the face, the neck, and adding finishing touches.
